Fuel waiver up to ₹300

The IDBI Bank Aspire Platinum is IDBI’s entry card, currently offered with no joining or annual fee. It earns a flat reward rate, adds welcome and milestone points, and has one of the more generous fuel surcharge waivers among entry cards.

Its interest rate of 2.9% a month is lower than most private-bank cards, which helps if you sometimes carry a balance — though paying in full is always cheaper.

In short: A no-fee IDBI card with 2 Delight Points per ₹150 on eligible spends, welcome and milestone bonuses, a fuel surcharge waiver of up to ₹300 a month and a relatively low 2.9% monthly interest rate. Simple and cheap; rewards are modest.

Final verdict

A sensible no-cost card for IDBI customers, with useful welcome and milestone points and a better-than-usual fuel waiver. Not a card to chase rewards with, but there is little reason not to hold it if you bank with IDBI.
