Up to 32 domestic + 8 international lounge visits a year

Last reviewed: October 2026, against Axis Bank’s Horizon product page, terms and conditions, MITC and change notices.

TL;DR

The Horizon is Axis Bank’s mid-priced travel card. It earns 5 EDGE Miles per ₹100 when you book flights directly with airlines or through Axis Travel EDGE, and 2 per ₹100 on other eligible spends. Its strongest point is lounge access: up to 8 domestic visits a quarter on the Visa Signature variant (6 on Mastercard World) and 2 international visits a quarter. The fee of ₹3,000 + GST has no spend-based waiver, and the 3.5% forex markup is standard, so this is not a card for heavy overseas spending.

Who it’s for

Good fit
  • You fly often and use airport lounges several times a quarter
  • You book flights directly with airlines or through Axis Travel EDGE
  • You hold, or are opening, an Axis Burgundy Savings Account
Skip it if
  • You spend a lot abroad — the 3.5% markup is standard
  • You want a fee you can waive by spending
  • Most of your spend is in zero-earn categories like rent, utilities or fuel

Verdict

The Horizon earns its fee through lounge access and 5 EDGE Miles per ₹100 on airline bookings. If you fly several times a quarter, the lounge allowance alone is worth more than ₹3,540 a year. If you rarely fly, or spend heavily abroad, look at a card with a fee waiver or a lower forex markup instead.
