Verified October 2026 against the issuer’s current product page, terms and notices: Kotak has stopped issuing both Veer cards, its RuPay cards for armed forces personnel. For existing holders there’s no joining fee; Veer Platinum costs ₹299 a year (waived on ₹50,000 spend) and Veer Select ₹599 (waived on ₹1 lakh), with waivers from the second year. Both earn 6 points per ₹200 on dining, movies, grocery and departmental stores and 2 elsewhere (1 point = ₹0.25), and waive fuel surcharge (up to ₹3,500 a year) and railway surcharge (up to ₹500). Veer Select adds 8 domestic lounge visits a year. Interest 3.75% a month.
