Verified October 2026 against the issuer’s current product page, terms and notices: SBI Card stopped issuing the Club Vistara SBI Card and Club Vistara SBI Card PRIME on 28 September 2024, after Vistara merged into Air India. For cards renewing after 1 April 2025, the renewal ticket voucher and milestone tickets ended and the renewal fee (₹1,499, or ₹2,999 on PRIME) is waived. Club Vistara points moved to Air India Maharaja Club at 1:1. SBI Card has not published a closure date or a replacement card; existing holders should watch for SBI Card’s messages.

Current status
- New applications: SBI Card stopped issuing the Club Vistara SBI Card and the PRIME variant from 28 September 2024.
- Base card, renewals after 1 April 2025: the economy ticket renewal benefit and milestone tickets (at ₹1.25 lakh, ₹2.5 lakh and ₹5 lakh) ended, and the ₹1,499 renewal fee is waived.
- PRIME, renewals after 1 April 2025: the premium economy renewal ticket and milestone tickets (at ₹1.5 lakh, ₹3 lakh, ₹4.5 lakh and ₹8 lakh) ended, and the ₹2,999 renewal fee is waived.
- Points: CV Points moved to Air India Maharaja Club at 1:1 from 12 November 2024.
What cardholders should do
- Check your Maharaja Points in your Maharaja Club account.
- Watch for SBI Card messages about the card’s future — SBI Card has not published a closure date.
- SBI Card also stopped issuing its Air India SBI Platinum and Signature cards from 10 October 2024, so there is currently no SBI Air India card for new applicants.
