super.money RuPay Credit Card Review (Axis Bank)
The super.money RuPay Credit Card is a lifetime-free cashback card issued by Axis Bank in partnership with super.money, the payments app from the Flipkart group. Because it runs on RuPay, you can link it to UPI and pay at any merchant QR code, which is where most of its value comes from.
The headline 3% is not a flat rate. Since the January 2026 revision, the 3% you earn on super.money scan-and-pay is limited by the 1% cashback you earn elsewhere in the same billing cycle. This review explains how that cap works in practice, what earns nothing, and who should still pick this card.
- No joining or annual fee, ever
- Works on UPI at any merchant QR code
- 1% cashback with no monthly cap
- Cashback credited directly to the statement (₹1 = ₹1)
- Excess super.money cashback carries forward for two cycles
- 3% is capped by your 1% earnings in the same cycle
- Transactions under ₹100 earn nothing
- Long exclusion list, including rent, fuel, utilities, insurance and tolls
- No lounge access, welcome or milestone benefits
- 3.5% forex markup

Rewards: how the card earns
| Spend | Cashback | Cap |
|---|---|---|
| QR scan-and-pay UPI via the super.money app | 3% | Limited to the total 1% cashback earned on other spends in the cycle; if that is under ₹100, the cap is ₹100 |
| All other eligible UPI and card spends | 1% | No cap |

Cashback is credited to the card account about three days before the next statement. If your super.money cashback exceeds the cap in a cycle, the surplus is carried forward and can be used in the next two cycles.

Card repayments, utilities, fuel, jewellery and watches, cash withdrawals, wallet loads, insurance, education, government services, payments to financial institutions, rent, EMI and post-facto EMI conversions, telecom, gift cards and tolls (added 28 Aug 2026) earn no cashback.

Who this card is for
- Good fit: UPI-first users who also put regular online and offline card spends on this card, so their 1% earnings unlock the full 3%.
- Skip if: you only want a scan-and-pay card, spend mostly on excluded categories (rent, utilities, fuel), or want travel perks.

Final verdict
A useful no-fee RuPay card for UPI payments, as long as you understand the cap. Use it for both card and QR spends and you can earn close to 1.5% on most eligible spending at zero cost. If you only want to scan QR codes, the ₹100 minimum cap makes the 3% headline far less attractive.
